A playbook for getting sponsored
Get a Visa Sponsor shows international students and graduates of UK universities how to find, approach and land an employer that will sponsor them.
Leave every page holding something you can use
Know your next stop, and leave every page holding something you can use.
The site is drawn as a signal-box panel. Press where you stand, and it lights every stop between you and a signed, sponsored offer. Each stop hands you one thing to use.
On every page
- A dated source line for every rule and employer fact.
- Something to use: a script, a checklist or an employer plate.
- A "Next stop" key to the step after this one.
Written for students and graduates of UK universities
If you are studying at a UK university, finishing a course, or working on a Graduate visa, this is for you. It also serves people in the UK on a High Potential Individual or Youth Mobility visa who need a sponsor before it ends.
Start with the playbook, check employers in the graduate scheme tracker, and copy the words you need from the script library.
What this site does not cover
- Immigration advice. For that, use a regulated adviser or a solicitor.
- The rules in depth. ukvisasponsorguide.com covers them.
- The general graduate job hunt: CVs, interviews and calendars.
- Applying for jobs on your behalf. Nothing here is for sale.
Immigration advice in the UK is regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (opens gov.uk), formerly the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC). Find a registered adviser with the gov.uk adviser finder (opens gov.uk).
Every employer fact is dated and sourced
Each employer plate reads three lamps: the register row, the employer's own words on sponsorship, and its published pay. The full method, the review cycle and the corrections log are on how every employer here is checked.
Write to the desk
Report an error, a broken link or an employer change: desk@getavisasponsor.com. Give the page address so it can be checked.
Start from the network panel: press where you stand and your route lights stop by stop. Or read the whole playbook in order, from the shortlist worksheet to the offer checklist.

This is a playbook, not immigration advice. Before you act, check the rule on gov.uk or ask a regulated immigration adviser or a solicitor.
